Good question, before I know that if I am interculturally competence, it would be convenient to know what intercultural competence means.
Intercultural competence is the ability to work and act in all cultures, also to be able to communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds, within our space, or outside it. Today being interculturally competence is something valuable, since in a globalized world it helps us to move in a safe and fit manner.
Now, as to the question of whether I am interculturally competence, I have to say that yes, I am. I consider myself a person that as soon as his relationship with different cultures is optimal, since today if you lock yourself up, only with the culture with which you were born, our personal and professional journey will be very short.
Fortunately, I had several intercultural experiences in my life, the last one was my Erasmus to Portugal. Portugal is a country with a lot of tradition, in which culture greatly influences its way of life. For example," la Pascua de Natal".
In the different festivities that I have witnessed, I could see that people from different cultures participated in them, such as Arabic, Nordic, Gypsy, South American ... That mixture influenced the intercultural competence of each one of those people. and personally, it helped me to understand that we can live with people from different cultures in the same space and enrich each other.
Professionally, I have been able to enrich myself from different cultures, knowing their art, literacy, their way of life, etc. Another clear example was the volunteer I did at Agrupamiento de Escolas Dr.Francisco Sanches. In the classroom in which I was, I had students from different cultures such as the gypsy, Angolan, Brazilian, Ukrainian, and the native, the Portuguese.

This mixup greatly influenced how classes took place since it was very interesting to see how the same concept could be envisioned in different ways depending on the culture.
All that background that I have been acquiring throughout my life will come to serve me when I become a teacher in a public school in Ceuta.
Below I leave the images of such a great intercultural exchange!
